Simple Spark

'Sort My List' is my little secret weapon at work. Before others even get their spreadsheet loaded, I've pasted the data into 'Sort My List', cleaned it up, sorted it, and have it pasted back in our office software!

I've used it to sort email addresses by domain name, sort our product list numerically (it uses the numbers it finds embedded within the item, they don't have to be at the beginning), and for regular alphabetizing, of course.

Typically, however, I use it to change the format of a dataset, from line-separated to comma-separated.

One thing I think makes it really shine is it's ability to only work on bits of my list at a time, as I work to clean it up. I can select only the text I want to work on. So, if I want to make only a certain section of my data ALL CAPS, I just select it, and do it, no problem.
