Great idea.

In my line of work I need to show my portfolio and resume to get hired. Problem is, so does everyone else in my position. And I’m sure there are at least one or two people in the world who have a better portfolio than me.

Now see? That was supposed to be a joke but probably came off pretty snooty. But with the InterviewStudio site I could say that same sentence with a wink or an exaggerated tone and it would come off okay, more like my natural self.

Besides that, the site makes it easy to add important, personal stuff that’s not on my resume, like how slinging hot dogs in the Kingdome was the most important step in getting my first real job. Information that’s much more compelling than a typical portfolio sample. Yeah, before dropping off my cold, naked portfolio again I’d definitely add in a little something that points employers to check out my InterviewStudio show.
